Board Assessment Management
First Principles Investing
About
At Board Assessment Management, our investment philosophy is grounded in first principles: management drives outcomes. The decisions of boards and executive teams determine products, shape profitability, and ultimately define valuation. All company fundamentals and market behaviour are derivatives of these management actions.
Our research process is data-driven and anchored in a proprietary scoring framework that quantifies management quality with the same analytical discipline found in banking and insurance risk models. By converting qualitative leadership attributes into quantitative scorecards, we enable objective comparison across companies and sectors.
This rigorous, technology-enabled approach forms the foundation of a systematic, repeatable, and alpha-generating investment process.

BAM Model
Our investment model is data-driven and systematic, designed to quantify management capability and value-creation potential. Using company filings, disclosures, and historical performance data, we apply large language models (LLMs) and proprietary quantitative analytics to evaluate leadership behaviour, decision-making, and strategic consistency.
These insights are translated into quantitative scorecards that form the foundation of our capital allocation process. By investing where management quality and execution excellence are demonstrably superior, we aim to capture leadership-driven alpha in a disciplined and repeatable framework.
